Djs to be taking you on this incredible journey via the best Brazilian and African sounds ever pressed on wax.
In the Brazilian corner – the most influencial Brazilian DJ and record collector possibly in the whole of Europe; DJ D.Vyzor. With a natural knack for playing some of the most obscure and extremely funky records he has is a regular on Giles Petersons’ World Wide FM and the legendary Boiler Room Sessions.
In the African corner – Vinyl junkie, DJ part time writer, part time radio show host and full time everything else; Volta45. Known for his extensive African and Jazz record collection. Curator for #DOOT and sometime instigator at Afro-Palace Sessions he has maintained a steady profile on the Tropical music scene for over a decade
The session will be fuelled by the infamous SJQ soundsystem. NO CHARGE on the door , come early as the cosy basment gets packed very quickly
